For anything about an order
WhatsApp is the fastest way, and it is me on the other end rather than a help desk. Send your order number, the pattern name and the email you used at checkout and it will be sorted in one message rather than four.
Missing files, a download that will not open, a printing problem, a seam that is not behaving, a parcel that has gone quiet — all the same thread. Ask.
For sewing help
The WhatsApp community group is often faster than me, and better, because someone there has usually just built the thing you are stuck on.
Instagram DMs and Discord are not monitored for anything to do with orders. If it concerns something you have paid for, use WhatsApp.
Email, and when to use it
roughcutofficial@gmail.com is read. It is slower than WhatsApp, so for anything about an order you will get a quicker answer on the message thread — but it is a real address and it does reach me.
Use it for anything you want a written record of: data-protection requests, formal notices, wholesale or licensing enquiries.
