The Bolt Room is for the community.
This week's fabrics, the Pick of the Week and every link are locked. Every Sunday at 6pm I post a new bolt key in the announcements of the Roughcut WhatsApp community.

When you check out at any of these shops, put the line below in the order notes. It costs you nothing and I don't earn a penny from it. It just shows these small shops where their customers come from, so they keep making cloth like this. Tapping Buy copies it for you.

About the photos. Every photo is the shop's own product shot, shown straight from their listing and credited on the image. The fabric and the photo belong to the shop, not to Roughcut. We only show photos where the shop's website terms don't forbid it. Everywhere else you'll see a woven swatch we drew. Colour shifts from screen to screen, so check the listing before you buy.
How this works
I don't stock, sell or ship any of this fabric. These are other people's shops that I've found over years of making. Each fabric, and each photo, belongs to the shop it comes from. You buy straight from them on their own website, so delivery, returns and any order questions go to the shop, not to Roughcut. I don't take a cut of anything you buy.

Why it costs more
Not the
cheap stuff.
This isn't every fabric on the internet. For basic denim or canvas, your local fabric shop or the big bulk sites have you covered, and that's fine. This list is for cloth that gives a build some depth.
Good cloth costs more because someone wove it slowly, sourced it in person or rescued it from a mill floor. Shuttle-loom selvedge, Japanese canvas, Ventile, real loden. You're building something to keep, and the fabric is half of it.
Roughcut fabric is coming, matched to the patterns and the tutorials. Until then I'm sending you to the small shops who already do it properly. Every week I go through the lot, take out what's sold out and add what's worth your money.
