When the parcel arrives, your country may charge import VAT or duty, and the courier sometimes adds a small handling fee. These are paid by you on delivery. They go to your customs office and the courier, not to Roughcut, and aren't included in the price or shipping.
A paper pattern is a low-value parcel, so it's often small. The courier will usually text or email you a link to pay.
